Panasonic (of all companies) release a fully manual digicam

DP Review is posting details on the new all manual Panasonic DMC-LC1. It looks like a very sexy bit of kit!

Fairly fast Leica lens
Manual Zoom, Manual Focus, Manual Aperture, Manual Shutter speed.
Auto bracketing

Looks like a great camera for hands on photographers....It even looks retro.

it is Panasonic's version of the Leica Digimax2, they developed the camera together and each put out their own versions.

It is certainly retro and so is the price at US$1600, its image quality is surpassed by the US$1000 8 Mpixel cameras with either Ziess or Canon L glass. The f2.0 is nice But give me silky smooth iso400 anyday.

It looks like a fun camera but not at that price point.
