ZDNet is reporting that the two companies behind Kazaa, Sharman Networks and Brilliant Digital Entertainment along with the homes of their executives were raided this morning in the execution of an Anton Pillar order. An AP order is the civil equivalent of having a rubber gloved coppa on your doorstep at 5am to execute a search warrant.
They also raided Monash, UQ and UNSW. Even Australias large ISPs including Telstra and BigPond were raided although Telstra at least insist that 'mums the word' when it comes to subscriber information.
